Solsafe anti powercut system for grid connected solar installations
Despite having a solar system on your house when there's a power outage, the grid inverters will shut off and the solar generator, whatever its size, will be useless. Studer Innotec have developped a concept in which its inverter-chargers allow to keep energy available from the solar generator, even in case of a power cut.
Compared to other similar solutions, it offers :
- A great system flexibility by choosing independently the grid inverter power (matching the solar generator) and the stand-alone power (matching the needs for autonomous energy), as long as the stand-alone inverter is as big or bigger than the grid inverter
- A wide choice of grid inverters and work with most standard, well known products
- Alows you to choose a grid inverter with any voltage input range independently from the battery voltage
- Facilitates an easy upgrade of existing grid-connected solar installations
