It's never a good idea to frequently completely drain a lithium battery. Form time to time it's ok but try and keep your battery with 20-30% charge left in. It's also not a good idea to leave the battery on charge for extended periods of time after it is already charged. When the battery has charge unplug it from the charger.

If possible stop charging the battery when it's about 80% full. This is difficult to judge with the simple chargers that come with the battery when you purchase it.
