It’s possible to make a DIY battery with a lemon, copper coin and galvanised nail. A lemon on its own won’t generate enough power to light up a simple LED (apparently 4-5 will)
To power your lights or TV you will need something a little more advanced. Modern batteries in solar kits are capable of delivering massive amounts of power and have a reasonably long life when looked after.
